  • Dr. Chandra Reddy
    Dr. Chandra Reddy

    Dr. Chandra Reddy has over 16 years of experience in small animal medicine, surgery and emergency care. After earning a degree in veterinary medicine in India, Dr. Reddy moved to the United States in 2002 to pursue a master’s degree at Colorado State University. During this time, Dr. Reddy published several research papers in peer-reviewed journals, focusing on food safety. Notably, the development of an ELISA test to detect central nervous tissue contamination in meat, addressing concerns about Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE).


    Dr. Reddy successfully completed the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) and the Clinical Proficiency Examination (CPE), developed by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG), earning veterinary license to practice in the United States.


    Dr. Reddy has an extensive background in veterinary medicine, including performing over 10,000 surgeries as part of high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter programs, as well as experience in wellness care, shelter medicine, urgent care, and emergency services across multiple organizations. With hands-on training in advanced surgical procedures—such as cystotomy, gastrotomy, enterotomy, GI foreign body removal, and dental extractions using dental X-rays—Dr. Reddy is proficient in providing comprehensive veterinary care.
    Dr. Reddy earned over 100 continuing education credits in areas such as surgery, ultrasound, dental extractions, and advanced CPR.


    Dr. Reddy is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Veterinary Information Network (VIN), further demonstrating a commitment to professional development and excellence in veterinary medicine.


    In his free time, Dr. Reddy enjoys playing golf, cycling, and motorcycle riding.
